    DTU is one of the prestigious state govt. college located in Delhi. Every year, around 1500 students pass out from DTU from different departments. DTU is famous for its Computer science, electronic and communication and mechanical engineering branch. Here in DTU, faculty members are from IITs, NITs and DTU itself. Mechanical branch is the branch in DTU that is more focused for its betterment in every aspect. The Students work in different tech teams.     Delhi Technological University and Birla Institute of Technology both are the best engineering colleges of India and both of them rank in top 10 lists of engineering colleges of India.
    But according to me BE in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology is much better than B.Tech from Delhi Technological University because of the following reasons
    1. Infrastructure of Birla Institute of Technology is much better than infrastructure of Delhi Technological University.
    2. Faculty provided by Birla Institute of Technology is much better than the faculty of Delhi Technological University because of experience and knowledge.

    B.Tech in ME from DTU is better option then BITS Pilani as DTU is more cheaper then BITS and both holds same placements records. Moreover here are some more info about DTU
    Placements : Placements are good. 6 LPA is the average salary offered with 37 LPA being the maximum in research and development. From this year, PSUs like BELL, IOCL, HPCL, etc. started visiting and 90% students were placed. Also, many students cleared GRE and got into esteemed colleges like CMU, Oxford, and Stanford.

    Both are well-known engineering colleges in India but BITS-Pilani beats DTU in many factors. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, BITS-Pilani ranks 16th while DTU ranks much lower at 39th position. Even if BITS-Pilani is a private university, it is still considered equivalent to some IITs and top NITs.
    Generally speaking, both the colleges have good placements and all. You should consider other factors like location, brand name, etc. The syllabus of mechanical engineering for both the colleges is given in links below:

    B.Tech from BITS Pilani is of highest repute and students receive some great offers more than 50lacs by Schlumberger, Shell and Rio Tinto for mechanical branch.
    Major roles included Procurement Analysis, Logistics management, Production planning, Strategic quality management.
    Average salaries range from 9-12 LPA and median lies at 15 LPA.
    Moreover, students receive gigantic offers in Internship with stipend of 1lac at times and added advantage of PPOs for mechanical branch.

    Both the colleges are reputed along with excellent placements records, so it’s quite tough to select which is better, however, BITS-Pilani is somehow better than DTU.
    Here is a comparison between them:

    Average package:- 8 LPA
    Highest package:- 24 LPA
