Hi,It is totally depends upon your keen interest in the field and you have to first introspect yourself and you have to decide to go for which course. Now come to the point that which course you should go for in my opinion you can go for the mechanical B.Tech from SRM because MNC's and many other top organization do visit for the campus and placements for the students and its ranking is among top 20 institutes (private) in India, if you have interest in mechanical branch, you can definitely go for it. Now, for B.Tech aeronautical engineering, if you have interest in it, you can go for it from MIT Manipal or SRM Chennai too provide educ

This can't be a compared as you can't compare different branches of different college. In general, go for mechanical over aeronautical (unless you are passionate about aeronautical).
Between two colleges MIT Manipal is leaps and bounds better than SRM.
Go for Manipal University (main campus). MIT Manipal is known for its quality education. It has excellent infrastructure and faculties too.
It is in top 50 ranks by National Institution ranking framework among the Indian Engineering colleges.
Manipal has better placements for all departments and almost 92 percent overall placements.
Manipal has gained the respect of students through its perf

Coming on to the streams of study, B.Tech in Aeronautical is confined to few aviation sectors whereas B.Tech in Mechanical is like an ocean of opportunities.
Mechanical engineering students can apply for almost every type of engineering jobs in India (mother of all Engineering streams for a reason). On the other hand aeronautical engineering students, being semi-mechanical has lesser job opportunities. After doing

It depends upon your interest and hobbies that which course you want to take aero nautical Engineering or mechanical engineering.
Aeronautical engineering deals with creating aircrafts and maintenance of the aircraft whereas mechanical engineering deals with maintenance of Machines engines etc.
According to me, you should go for mechanical engineering from SRM Chennai because of the following reasons:
    1. Fee structure of mechanical engineering from SRM is much lesser than fee structure of Aeronautical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
    2. SRM has a separate campus for mechanical engineering.
    3. SRM provides the students of Me
