First of all, let me make it clear to my fellow students that VIT, Pune is indeed Vishwakarma Institute of Technology and not Vellore Institute of Technology. Now coming to the question, both of these colleges are pretty good in terms of the quality of education they provide. Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) was specially founded for imparting education in computer science and IT.
