Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from IIT, Bombay or B.Tech in CSE from IIT, Delhi?
Please share the details on the basis of course outline, faculty, placement and college infrastructure.

6 years agoBoth the IITs are good but in my opinion, IIT Bombay is better for B.Tech in CSE than IIT Delhi because IIT Bombay provides good infrastructure, good course curriculum, good CSE faculty members and good computer labs also. -

It is really difficult to compare the two Indian Institute of Technology because both of these institutes are leading universities/colleges of India.
For some year, IIT-Bombay is on top and then for some years, IIT-Delhi is on top.
If we have to really compare them, we should compare them on the basis of their placements:
In IIT Bombay-
About 100% students of computer science engineering got placed in the placement. Salaries range from 10 Lakh per annum to 1.5 crores per annum. Big companies like Microsoft, Visa, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, etc. visited the campus. Roles offered include software engineer, data scientist, analyst, trader, etc.

Being in an IIT, you can expect the best of the education, faculty, services and placements in India. Both the colleges have a strategic advantage of being placed in a metro city other than being on the top of the list of the best engineering colleges in India.
IIT-Delhi is on the 179 position on the list of the best worldwide engineering colleges while IIT-Bombay is on 202 positions the same list.
The paper for faculty list in IIT-Delhi is 2 while you same for IIT-Bombay is 25 which is really impressive.

B.Tech from IIT-Bombay is preferable as compared to IIT-Delhi.
Both are present in metro cities so there is nothing such as location disadvantage.
The culture, however, in both the campuses differs a lot.
IIT-Bombay is located around beautiful Powai lake. While IIT-Delhi is located in the mainland city.
IIT-Bombay stands above in ranking as compared to IIT-Delhi.
