Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from IIT Delhi or BE (Hons.) in CSE from BITS-Pilani?

6 years agoIn my opinion, IIT Delhi is better for B.Tech in CSE than BITS Pilani because IIT Delhi provides good infrastructure, good course curriculum, good CSE faculty members and good computer labs also. -

Both are top notch colleges of India, so it's quite tough to select any one of them. However, to study in an IIT is more prestigious than ant other colleges, so IIT Delhi is somehow more reputed.

Well doing B.Tech from IIT Delhi is the best option because:
Placements: Placements were good as always with 100% placements, but the highest and lowest salaries were not disclosed by the placement cell of IIT. Companies like Snapdeal, Bidgley, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs visited the campus.
Internships were also offered to almost all the students of the department. I have heard of a stipend of 2 lacs per month, which was the highest here.

7 years agoNo doubt BITS Pilani is one of the best engineering colleges of India but when it comes to comparison between BITS Pilani and IIT, Delhi and that too for the same branch, I will place IIT, Delhi on top. Placement wise both are similar but somewhere getting marksheet of a prestigious IIT will be a different thing. Computer science branch in both the colleges is a dream branch for every JEE aspirant. IIT, Delhi always features its name in top 3 engineering colleges of the country.

I'll start from IIT Delhi. The course outline of computer science here is quite well aligned with the course structure of top ranked international universities and is definitely one of the well-structured courses in the IITs as it is pretty evident by the placements or the students' selection for MS-PhD and even entrepreneurship options. The facilities provided by the computer science department is really well apt and is definitely parallel to the international standards.
