Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from IIT Kharagpur or BE (Hons.) in CSE from BITS-Pilani?

Please share the details on the basis of course outline, faculty, placement and college infrastructure.

    Hi there,
    Both are the top-notch colleges for CSE, but for being an IIT, I will favor IIT-KGP as it is much better.
    Here is a comparison between them:

    Average package:- 6.75 lakhs (aggregate of all branches)
    Highest package:- 1.5 crores

    BITS and IIT, Kharagpur are the best colleges of India but IIT, Kharagpur is a central government college with more national importance and its degree is more valuable. IIT, Kharagpur is the best option for CSE branch in comparison to BITS, Pilani for CSE. IIT-KGP is the oldest and largest IIT and the best technical college in India.
    Placement in IIT, Kharagpur is better than BITS Pilani in IIT, Kharagpur there is more chance of getting placed in a good company such as Microsoft, Apple, Infosys, HTC, Qualcomm, ARM, etc. as compared to BITS. CSE branch students from IIT, Kharagpur also have chances to get placed abroad.

    CSE from IIT-Kharagpur is better as compared to BITS as it stands among top 3 colleges in India as per the latest government rankings framework. Even it will be cheaper as compared to BITS.     Bits stand among top 5 universities in India as per the latest government rankings framework.
