Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from IIT Kharagpur or BE (Hons.) in CSE from BITS-Pilani?

Hi there, Both are the top-notch colleges for CSE, but for being an IIT, I will favor IIT-KGP as it is much better. BITS and IIT, Kharagpur are the best colleges of India but IIT, Kharagpur is a central government college with more national importance and its degree is more valuable. IIT, Kharagpur is the best option for CSE branch in comparison to BITS, Pilani for CSE. IIT-KGP is the oldest and largest IIT and the best technical college in India. Placement in IIT, Kharagpur is better than BITS Pilani in IIT, Kharagpur there is more chance of getting placed in a good company such as Microsoft, Apple, Infosys, HTC, Qualcomm, ARM, etc. as compared to BITS. CSE branch students from IIT, Kharagpur also have chances to get placed abroad. "IIT is not a tag it is a brand and value", according to the society so if someone really cares about society then it really matters. IITs have scope in every field.

CSE from IIT-Kharagpur is better as compared to BITS as it stands among top 3 colleges in India as per the latest government rankings framework. Even it will be cheaper as compared to BITS. From the CSE department, over 95% of the batch gets placed either through the placements in December or PPOs from internships. Highest salary (base, no stocks) offered in India was about 29 LPA by Xerox Research. The average salary would be around 18 LPA and the lowest being 8 LPA. Companies which visited include Microsoft, Oracle, Visa, Xerox, Goldman Sachs, Jp Morgan and Chase, Facebook, Amazon, Adobe and IBM. Software engineer, analyst and researcher were some of the roles. 90% of the students got internships from the college through the placement cell. The highest stipend in India was from American Express, Rs. 65,000 per month. The average stipend was around 25K per month and the lowest was 10K per month. It has a very good course structure, entrepreneurship activities trend throughout the campus, a lot of societies to be a part of and get involved in many extracurricular activities. Campus life is something everyone will fall in love with and open ideas are always appreciated. CSE from BITS Pilani is better as compared to IIT Kharagpur Bits stand among top 5 universities in India as per the latest government rankings framework. The students here work on latest research areas like Blockchain, Algorithmic learning, AI etc. CSE gets highest cut off in BITSAT exam scores for admissions. Students get to explore other areas like sciences, finance, economics etc. The campus is spread across vast area with greenery all around. There are lot of facilities for co-curricular activities and sports. Four fests are held annually for encouraging students talent and potential in various areas. If we talk about the placements then top recruiters come on the campus and take the students. Companies like flow Traders, Nutanix, Uber, Amazon, Myntra, Qualcomm, Oracle, McKinsey, etc. come to campus. Packages offered vary from 20 lakhs to 80 lakhs. Apart from placements students have option of industrial exposure in two practice schools and they get a chance of PPO too. There is support & guidance for higher education in abroad. To promote culture of entrepreneurship there is an E cell too.
