Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from KIIT or B.Tech in CSE from SRM University, Chennai ?

KIIT is far better than SRM.

KIIT is one of the underrated colleges in India, despite its excellent achievements, academics, placements, it fails to show up to the top college's roundup. Clearly, it is not a pump and show at all. It is much more concered on your academics than SRM is. At SRM, you have to learn everything by yourself, get out of the place where you expect the teacher to guide (other than a few), but the staff is really supportive and guiding at KIIT. The fees on an average as per 2017 is lesser for KIIT and you don't have to pay loads for a hostel at SRM. Much better and bigger placement take place at KIIT. So now, to sum up, it is clear from there records that in the coming future it will prove to be a better institution keeping inside the brand name of SRM. Also, course regulation supervision and revision takes place every year at KIIT which is something SRM lacks and keeps using the same old 5 year back course. P. S. KIIT only if home education and placement are what you want. Choose wisely!

Both the colleges are the most important colleges after IITs, NITs and some reputed government college and private colleges such as BITS and VIT, Vellore. Both the universities are deemed. In 2017, SRM University ranked 35th position while KIIT University ranked 47th. But faculty in KIIT is quite better than SRM University. The diversity in SRM is more as it has 7 campuses. In Chennai campus SRM provides good placements but in all other campuses placement record is average and in KIIT if a student scores more than 6.5 CGPA in B.Tech then he/she definitely gets a placement. So placement condition in KIIT is good. In overall comparison KIIT is a good university which has transparent system of education but in SRM University condition isn’t the same. Fee structure in KIIT is fixed i.e. 1,50,000 INR but in SRM it depends on many things.

KIIT only showoff they have 100% placement, this is completely lie. In KIIT, no any branches are there that has 100% placement. KIIT has placement of 60-70% including many students did not get their offer letter. You can also ask from any KIIT passout of CSE branch or other branch, is it true KIIT has 100% placement? I'm telling you because I'm 2020 passout of KIIT.

KIIT School of Technology was established in 1997.The university is known for the best placements in computer science engineering.In the last academic year companies took students offering them 5-24 lakhs of annual package. The university is best in every aspect whether it is academics or other activities. They have a very well designed campus and in the last few years ,it has improved many folds, hostel rooms, classrooms, campus etc.Hostels are very neat &amp; clean and the College campuses have beautiful sights.Every college has it's own share of worthy and unworthy faculty members and and KIIT is no different.Overall this is a college that anyone could ask for. <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.kiit.ac.in/placement/2016.html" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>http://www.kiit.ac.in/placement/2016.html</a> <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://kiit.ac.in/placement/index.html" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>http://kiit.ac.in/placement/index.html</a> As for SRM Chennai, it is less concerned on academics than KIIT but is known for providing better placements to their students than KIIT. Infrastructure of this college is very nice and the college is well known for their co-curricular activities or the club activities. The fee structure of KIIT on an average is lesser than of SRM. There is no hostel facility in KIIT as for now is you will have to look for PG's if you are not from Gurugram or and any nearby place. On the other hand, SRM University has the hostel facility. This college will give you a good exposure and ample of opportunities(but it all depends on you). You can check the websites of both the educational institutions for any further details.
