Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from NIT, Warangal or B.Tech in CSE from NITK, Surathkal?

NIT-Surathkal is better placed with NIRF ranking of 22 as against rank 34 for NIT Warangal. Both the colleges are pretty good and are among the top NITs. However, NIT-Surathkal is ranked higher by National Institute Ranking Framework. NIT-Surathkal ranks 22nd while NIT-Warangal ranks at 34th position. Coming to placements: For CSE in NIT Warangal, last time (2016-17) out of 108 students who applied to placements from CSE department, 107 students were placed meaning 90.1 percent placement for CSE which is quite an impressive number. For CSE, the minimum salary offered was 3.3 LPA. The average salary was 13.5 LPA and the maximum salary was 20 LPA. All these figures suggest pretty good placements at NIT-Warangal. For NIT Surathkal, last time (2016-17) out of 94 students who applied to placements from CSE department, all the 94 students were placed meaning 100 percent placement for CSE which is quite an impressive number. For CSE, the minimum salary offered was 4 LPA. The average salary was 12.8 LPA and the maximum salary was 25 LPA. All these figures suggest pretty good placements at NIT-Surathkal too. Both the colleges are good, decide for yourself considering all the factors.
