Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from VIT University or B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering from MIT Manipal?

It depends upon your interest whether you choose computer science engineering or aeronautical engineering. Vellore Institute of Technology and Manipal Institute of Technology both of them are the best private engineering colleges of India. According to me, computer science engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology is much better than aeronautical engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology because of the following reasons 1. Fee structure of Vellore Institute of Technology is about 7.8 Lakh and fee structure of Manipal Institute of Technology and aeronautical engineering is about 12.8 Lakh . 2. Faculty of Vellore Institute of Technology is much better than Faculty of Manipal Institute of Technology. 3. Facilities provided to the students of computer science engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology is much better than facilities provided to the aeronautical engineering students of Manipal Institute of Technology. 4 Placement: IN VIT: The average package offered by the companies is about 6.5 Lakh per annum and the highest package is about 24 Lakh per annum. IN MIT The average package offered by the companies is about 3 Lakh per annum. Hope it helps.

This comparison is totally invalid as you cannot compare two totally different branches. You must select the branch based on your passion and not on other factors. Once you have decided a particular branch and want to select between MIT or VIT then go for MIT Manipal. MIT Manipal is known for its quality education. It has excellent infrastructure and faculties too. It is in top 50 ranks by National Institution ranking framework among the Indian Engineering colleges. Manipal has better placements for all the department and almost 92 percent overall placements. Manipal has gained the respect of students through its performance throughout the years. On the other hand I think VIT is all about advertising. They just want to make profits. Whatever your rank in VITEEE you can get into CSE by paying more. It is like they are selling seats. Also, infrastructure is not as good as Manipal. More reputed companies visit Manipal while VIT is about mass recruitment. So, go for Manipal over VIT.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) are very well known educational institutions and are the best in their particular fields. Selection, of course, is completely dependent on your interest. If you feel comfortable to be near a cyber machine (Computer/Laptop) and have interest in knowing more about it then I think you will do good in in CSE. Whereas, if you wonder how a 500,000 kg machine fly in the sky and want to understand the technologies behind these great machines then you can opt for B.Tech in aeronautical. Now coming on to course which will be more advantageous in reference to future job opportunities. If we see from the job perspective, B.Tech in CSE is a bit more advantageous than B.Tech in aeronautical engineering. Currently, there is a huge demand for CSE. Since the IT sector is growing rapidly in India. Whereas, the aviation sector is in a slow growth. Doing B.Tech in CSE from VIT would be more beneficial as per the current situations. It provides high-quality education and placements as well.
