Which of these is better: B.Tech in CSE from VIT University or BE in CSE from SRM University, Chennai?

VIT standing tall in the top 7 colleges in the private sector around the country is certainly better than SRM. More core companies visit VIT-Vellore than SRM-Chennai. Taking into account the previous year 3 students got placed in for a sum of 20 lacs by a core company, well for the others they either got placed in marketing or IT firm. It is the same scenario for SRM as well only that fewer companies visit the campus (the core ones). If you want to enjoy your college join SRM otherwise VIT is the right place for you. At SRM, you are not bound to following a set of rules but at VIT it's a bit stricter and more disciplined. You have a specific study time allotted to students during which no internet is provided to them. VIT is the opposite for SRM students as they are not provided with Wi-Fi only during the classes so SRM can maintain maximum attendance. CSE at SRM is accredited by JEE and IBM at different branches but it is not so for VIT. Hope this helps. Make a right choice.
