Which of these is better: B.Tech in EEE from NIT Trichy or B.Tech in EEE from NIT, Warangal?

NIT, Trichy has been ranked one among the NITs for a while now whereas NIT, Warangal is said to be in top 3 but it's position keeps on fluctuating. If we see the MHRD ranking for engineering colleges NIT,Trichy stands at 11 while NIT, Warangal stands at 34. Coming to the EEE department, the curriculum of both the colleges is similar and revolves around all the subjects in both electrical and electronics. The faculty in both the colleges is comparable as they follow government rules for recruitment of professors. However the big difference is in the placements. In 2016 NIT, Warangal saw a placement of 88.4% for the EEE department while NIT Trichy had 100% placement for both 2015 and 2016. The numbers speak for themselves, the industry as such sees NIT Trichy's students as more employable than that of NIT Warangal's. Some people may disagree. I would definitely suggest to join NIT, Trichy over NIT, Warangal.

For branch like EEE, you should prefer the top college. I suggest you to go with NIT-Trichy.

NIT Trichy being among the top National Institute of Technology colleges in India is certainly a lot better than National Institute of Technology Warangal. Also the electronics and electrical department at NIT Trichy has a reputation of being the best among all the other NIT colleges in India which is why the college experience is the best placements in India for electrical engineering students after Indian Institute of Technology colleges in India. More number of core electrical companies visit campus then in comparison to NIT Warangal. If someone does not want to get into a Core Company, he or she has the option to go for corporate companies that visit the campus offering a package certainly higher than what the core electrical companies usually do. The total batch placement percentage is around 85 percentage for NIT Trichy while it is 70% for NIT Warangal. Hence, I would recommend you to go for admission in NIT Trichy anytime if you are looking for good education and placements. Good luck and cheers.

From NIT-Trichy and NIT-Warangal, I'll prefer you to opt for the Trichy, if you have rank for this college as this is the best college on the basis of course outline, faculty, placement and college infrastructure.
