Which of these is better: BE (Hons.) in CSE from BITS-Pilani or B.Tech in CSE from VIT University?

BE (Hons) in CSE is better option as compared to B.Tech in CSE from VIT University BITS stand among top 5 universities in India as per the latest government rankings framework. The students here work on latest research areas like blockchain, algorithmic learning, AI, etc. CSE gets highest cut-off in BITSAT exam scores for admissions. Students get to explore other areas like sciences, finance, economics, etc. The campus is spread across vast area with greenery all around. There are lot of facilities for co curricular activities and sports. Four fests are held annually for encouraging students talent and potential in various areas. If we talk about the placements then top recruiters come on the campus and take the students. Companies like flow Traders, Nutanix, Uber, Amazon, Myntra, Qualcomm, Oracle, McKinsey, etc. come to campus. Packages offered vary from 20 lakhs to 80 lakhs. Apart from placements, students have option of industrial exposure in two practice schools and they get a chance of PPO too. There is support & guidance for higher education in abroad. To promote culture of entrepreneurship there is an E cell too.

Hi, Both the colleges are well reputed with excellent placement records, however, CSE from BITS, Pilani is the better option. Greetings from SHIKSHA. Computer Science Engineering is amongst the Best Engineering Branches. There is very good scope of doing CSE from both these Institutes in the terms of training, education and Placements. BITS Pilani and VIT University are among the best Engineering Institutes in India. Placement ratio of both of these institutes is really very good. And almost 100% placement ratio is seen in BITS Pilani. The campuses of both the institutes are also the best. So, now, talking about the point that which is better, among these two institutes, the answer will be BITS Pilani. It is better than VIT University because BITS Pilani prepare quality engineers and packages are higher than VIT University. So, in VIT, intake is more, so the quality engineers are not much produced here. So, thus BITS Pilani is better than VIT University in every term of training, education, placements, research and further studies. The curriculum and students’ life and environment is totally different and the best of BITS Pilani.

No doubt BITS Pilani is a better college than VIT. Just compare on the basis of few points: Admission Test: BITSAT requires more academic grounding than VITEEE. BITSAT has a negative marking system of +3 and -1, while VITEEE has no negative marking. The level of questions in BITSAT is higher as compared to VITEEE. Management quota: There is no admission examination for BITS besides BITSAT but in VIT if someone misses the rank by few then he/she can get admission with the power of money. Attendance policy: There is no strict rule for attendance in BITS but there is a rule for 75%+ attendance in VIT which is not good, I think at the time of engineering we are in that place where a few wants to destroy their career so leave them free to enhance their talent. Placement: There is quite better placement record in BITS as compared to VIT and BITS has more collaboration with foreign colleges which helps students in further studies. BITS is more valuable tag then VIT: If someone considers this answer as biased, VIT may have more bright spots than I mentioned in my answer, but at the end of the day, the word from the masses would definitely tell you to choose any of the BITS campuses in India over VIT, if you have to choose between them.

(Hons.) program. Major companies that visited for internships includes Google, Microsoft, Directi, Nutanix, Samsung etc. Some of the companies also offered pre-placement offers to the students interning there. Infrastructure : The campus is undergoing renovation. The new academic block is the best infrastructure you will find anywhere. The mess food is average. Mess extras are available in case you want to eat something other than regular food. The new hostels that have been renovated are very good and equipped with Wi-Fi and solar geysers. Older hostels which are yet to be renovated have LAN and solar geysers with satisfactory infrastructure. Sports facilities includes basketball, tennis, volleyball, football, hockey, cricket, table tennis, badminton courts and a track for athletics. Besides this, each hostel has a play area. Faculty : Faculty members are qualified. Some of them are very enthusiastic about giving their best to the students, especially the physics and biology faculty members. Research scholars are also very knowledgeable and ready to help. Students are given a list of some compulsory courses and some courses they can choose as per their choice, so it's quite flexible as a student can choose which section of which course does he want to attend and which course he wants to do. Industry exposure is given through internship after second year and in fourth year.

It would always be BITS-Pilani as BITS has the best infrastructure a college student can dream of. The crowd you get there is the most creamy layer of students and the support from the faculty and administration is way beyond count. The packages student get in BITS can't be compared to any other private college as BITS has its own level which cannot be matched by any private college in near future.

In my opinion, BE in CSE from BITS Pilani is any day better than VIT University. BITS Pilani is a recognised university and has a very good brand value. The placement you get here will also be very good. The exposure you will get here will be amazing. BITS Pilani will help you grow in a holistic way and just in academics. The extra curricular societies are very active here and the fest is grand. Concluding, BITS Pilani is a better choice over VIT. All the best for your future.

BE (Hons) in Computer science and engineering from Birla institute of technology and science(BITs) Pilani is far better than computer science and engineering from Vellore institute of technology (VIT).BITs is one of the best engineering college of India and gives very tough competition to even the top IITs. I will try to distinguish between the given two colleges in the basis of few parameters: INFRASTRUCTURE: Here, BITs has the upper hand. Infrastructure at VIT is also good but not as good as BITs. CROWD QUALITY: BITs don't have any type of reservation. That’s why cut-off of BITS goes higher. Quality of students is very good there. No management quota seats and no ranking slots. While VIT has management quota seats and ranking slots. So, BITs again has edge over VIT. FACULTIES: BITs has well qualified and experienced faculties. VIT top has pool of good faculties. PLACEMENT: Placement wise BITs is far better than VIT. VIT students get quantity of job but BITsians bag good quality job. Also, average package is higher in BITs. Companies like Google, Facebook, Amazon, SAP Labs, Flipkart etc are top recruiters in BITs. FEE: Both the colleges have almost similar fees.Infact little higher in BITs.
