Which of these is better: BE (Hons.) Mechanical Engineering from BITS-Pilani or B.Tech in CSE from VIT University?

B.Tech in ME from BITS PILANI is better option then doing it from VIT due to following concerns BITS Pilani is a preferred destination to recruit from, for a large number of companies. We feel validated in the quality of education and experience we provide to our students when a majority of our students are successfully placed on campus. Each of our programmes are designed to give our students a balanced education with theory as well as practical knowledge. In addition, they are encouraged to participate in extra curricular activities as it helps them develop soft skills and develop well rounded personalities. It is this that differentiates our students and makes them a valuable part of any company they join Infrastructure: The College is under renovation and till 2020 it will be among the best colleges of India in terms of education as well as infrastructure. Renovated hostels have Wi-Fi facility. Library is world class. It has A.C. halls as well as non-A.C. rooms. Hostel rooms are good in condition. Labs and classrooms are not in a very good condition but after the renovation, they will be. Sports facilities are very good. A separate area is being alloted for each and every sport. Faculty: Faculty of the college is unlike those of other private colleges. They are very knowledgeable, helping and motivating. The college has modern technology like projectors, videos are used to give examples or to explain the applications. Student to faculty ratio is 30:1 which is good enough. The course curriculum is good. Regular surveys are conducted to check if the students are facing any problems related to academics. Both the universities are deemed university and they take their own test for entrance. BITS conduct BITSAT & VIT conduct its own VIT test. Hi there, I think BITS Pilani is way better than VIT University. Here are some points: BITS Pilani is the best Deemed University in India and the intake at each of its Campuses (Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad) is just around 650 to 700 people. VIT on the other hand, has an intake of more than 800 Students for CSE Branch alone. BITS Pilani has the most flexible Curriculum and its Internship Programs (known as PS1 and PS2) are the best in India. It has an amazing set of diverse electives that allows you to follow your passion. BITS Pilani was the 1st Engineering College to start the so successful Dual Degree Program - something that was later copied by the IITs themselves! BITS Pilani has zero attendance policy. If utilised well, you can pursue lots of creative hobbies. BITS Pilani has very good Teaching, Infrastructure. The huge Library is bigger than the Administrative Blocks of many Colleges.
