I'm currently a student of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune. So, my answer focuses on the facts about my college. One can see the best placement scenario in my college for computer engineering with a sound package. I personally think that college infrastructure doesn't matter. It can be ignored on the expense of good quality faculty/staff. Moreover, you can get Honours courses, many workshops and other courses that will help improve your employability. I would suggest you to go with VIT (Vishwakarma Institute of Technology) rather than MIT.
Generally speaking VIT ranks higher than MIT as such. Even if you compare cutoffs of VIT and MIT you can clearly see the cutoffs are high for VIT which means students prefer it over MIT. Last year VIT had a whopping 100 percent placement for CSE department with a highest package of 22 LPA.
VIT is known for its blend of academics with extra-curricular activities.
So my suggestion is choose VIT for CSE over MIT.
