Which of these is better: BE in CSE from AIT Bangalore or BE in CSE from DSCE?

Both the colleges are good colleges to pursue engineering but DSCE is somehow better in terms of placements. Here is a comparison between them. Here are some of the insights of the college. DSCE is better than AIT. Both the campuses offer quality education with excellent placement. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has a very excellent infrastructure and their two campuses are having excellent facilities. Computer science engineering is one of the good courses in the engineering section. The placements are assured by both campuses. The fee of both campuses is on a higher note. The faculties of both these colleges are experienced and are very much supportive of the students to guide their career. Dayanand Sagar always conducts technical fests and workshops which help students to get more practical exposure for them. Both the colleges are supported by foreign collaborations and they are very much intended to give a very handy education for the enrolled students of the campuses. They give guidance for a better future of the students. One of the major drawbacks of computer science engineering is that there are fewer placement opportunities after leaving the campuses. If a student gets a job by campus selection they will be successful. It is difficult to search job from outside. DSCE is better than AIT.

Both the colleges used to be once affiliated to VTU, but now Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has opted out of the collaboration and has got autonomous status by NAAC, while its competitor is still affiliated to VTU. This gives DSCE students advantage to select the elective of their own choice which is not a privilege that you will get at the former. DSCE also gives you an opportunity to be a part of various clubs like Microsoft Innovative Labs, etc, but there is no such facility present at AIT, Bangalore. the highest placement package in Dayananda Sagar Engineering College for the year 2017 being 15 LPA in Commvault, while it is a lot less at AIT, Bangalore despite the fact that both the colleges have a statistical advantage of being located in Bangalore which helps them to attract many local and core companies. Also, DSCE is a lot more lenient in terms of attendance in comparison to its competitor. I hope this answer helps you. Good luck and cheers.

Placements: Placements for all the departments are very good and appreciable. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Toyota Kirloskar, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc., have been recruiting computer science engineers with an average package of 3.5-5 LPA. Acharya has also tie-ups with industries such as Mahindra, Infosys and Sasken for the betterment of CSE students. Overall, it has 90% placements. Infrastructure: I would say Acharya has the best of the facilities available and the campus is huge and pleasing. There are separate blocks for different branches and it is well-connected to the outer world. There are spacious classrooms, high-tech labs, a good Wi-Fi for students in the blocks and a well-maintained sports department. Students can actively take part in various sports that are encouraged in the college and be a part of the college team too. Faculty members are highly educated and experienced. They have good knowledge about the subjects and are always ready to help the students. They are friendly and make you feel at home when they teach you. Just not with studies, they also help us with other matters. For DSCE: Placements: Placements in this college are about 90%. If you are little bit sincere towards your studies, you will be having at least 2 jobs in your hands at the end of 4th year. Major placements took place in Accenture. Last year, about 200 students got placed in it. As far as internships are concerned, the percentage is low. If you are bright enough, then only you will get the internship from the college. Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing here. The college itself is built on a hill and the scenic beauty is outstanding. The main attraction of the college is its auditorium which is no less than a theatre. The labs and classrooms are good enough, but no facility of Wi-Fi. Faculty: The faculty team varies according to the department. For CSE, the faculty members are fine. In the beginning, they are good enough but in the end, they just rush up things, which results in a heavy load before exams, though some teachers give their best in delivering the subject as compared to others. No industrial tour is provided. Overall, this proves that DSCE is great and worth the money spent.
