Hi, BE in CSE at BIT MESRA would be my anytime choice over VIT. BIT MESRA is a GFTI, whereas VIT is just another private institute which is just over hyped. I think I will recommend VIT. The faculty members and course curriculum there are great. BIT-Mesra is good too and the crowd there is great. It comes down to which location you prefer. If you want to go to a place with a better education then go for VIT. If you want to go to a place with a satisfact

BIT has a better alum network, better placement records (avg salaries, diversity of companies), better recognition in the US (applicable if interested in higher studies in the US), better programming community.
