Which of these is better: BE in CSE from BMSCE or BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PES, Bangalore?

Average Package: 4.5 LPA. The highest package: 12 LPA by Intel and Vodafone Median Package: 6 LPA Some top recruiters include: Myntra, SNAP deal, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Paypal, Code Nation, Infosys, Accenture, Flipkart, Zomato, Intel, Akamai, Cisco, Yahoo, Oracle, Linked in, Intuit, SAP, JP Morgan, PAYU, KLA, Tencor, Dolcera, McKinsey, Brain and Co, Ebay, Vodafone, Airtel, Jeevansathi, Aditya Birla and Tata Power. So for in 2017, a good number of students have already been placed with a package above INR 5 LPA and internships have seen humongous growth. The placements records have been improving every year with great support and are expected to improve with double digit growth in participating companies more in the years to come by. As far as BMSCE is concerned core job roles in ECE are miniscule and average package is on lower end with ambiguous unaudited reports.

PES and BMS are very famous campuses in Karnataka where a large number of students study. BMS College of Engineering is one of the best campuses in Karnataka or South India. They offer excellent teaching methodology. The students of that campus are always given practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge. Bachelor of Engineering in CSE from BMSCE is always worthy and useful for a better career as compared to PES Bangalore. BMS College students are getting placed in major companies during the course of study itself. The major reason is that they are focusing on quality teaching and the new methodology of teaching. The fee in BMS will be a little higher as compared to PES. CSE branch of PES is very advanced and they give more importance for practical knowledge. The faculties in BMS. The campus is very much supportive and will give proper guidance for each and every student. Also, the faculty at PES are a lot more helpful and supportive at PES, who would readily encourage you to take up projects and would help you to finish them too. As a whole, PES and BMS are somewhat similar in terms of qualities.

Hey, So, I am a student of BMS College of Engineering. I can give you a quick insight of CSE branch in our college. When it comes to placements, CSE is at top all the time. And in our college, we get a lot of exposure to improve our skills. There will be a lot of hackathons and codeathons that will be conducted. We have oir technical fest called Phaseshift in the month of September which is a like a festival to all the BMSCians. It is a platform where you get to showcase your skills and put the things learnt in the theory to use. If you are looking for a lot of competition and improvement of your skills I would say BMS is a very good option. And I am sorry I don't know much about PES.
