Which offers a better scope- PGDM or MBA?

Both PGDM and MBA are popular these days. The basic difference between the two is that MBA is offered by recognized universities whereas PGDM is post graduation offered by autonomous institutes. For example- IIMs, XLRI, BULMIM etc offer PGDM only whereas universities like Faculty of Management Studi

BULMIM offers PGDM which is equivalent MBA ,the course stands recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree of an Indian University for the purpose of Higher Education/Research.
