While comparing with career opportunities and salary package, B.Tech in agricultural engineering is much better than B.Sc. in Agriculture. Average salary package offered for these graduates is up to Rs. 3, 00, 000/- per annum. But average salary package in the case of B.Tech graduates in Agricultural Engineering is up to Rs. 7, 00, 000/- per annum. They can find numerous opportunities in State Farms Corporation of India, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), National Seeds Corporation Limited and Food Corporation of India.
