Which one among B.Sc in agriculture & B.Tech in agriculture engineering offers a better job scope and salary?

While comparing with career opportunities and salary package, B.Tech in agricultural engineering is much better than B.Sc. in Agriculture. Average salary package offered for these graduates is up to Rs. 3, 00, 000/- per annum. But average salary package in the case of B.Tech graduates in Agricultural Engineering is up to Rs. 7, 00, 000/- per annum. They can find numerous opportunities in State Farms Corporation of India, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), National Seeds Corporation Limited and Food Corporation of India. Even so, if the candidates are more interested in research field than technical field, then B.Sc. in Agriculture is better option as there are lots of higher studies options.

Both are the good programmes, it depends on your interest as to which programme do you want to join. The candidates pursuing B.Sc. In Agriculture can find a lucrative career growth in various private as well as government-based industries. B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering provides higher career growth and high paying jobs in government and private based companies. Both fields have good career options, these courses are totally different to each other if you are interested in agriculture, you want to make your career in the field of farming, horticulture, agriculture, etc. Then go for B.Sc. Agriculture. This field never runs out of job opportunities, or if you are interested in technology, you want to become an engineer then go for B.Tech. There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector.
