    Both are good engineering colleges. AS LPU alumni I would suggest LPU for mechanical engineering. The school of mechanical engineering, LPU is one of the best universities which provides quality education as well as placements to B.Tech mechanical students.     Both are good. But, if compared with cost BIT is better.
