MBA is much better and there is a lot of chance for placement. Liberal subjects are mainly research-oriented.So, Economics will bring you opportunity only on study and depth.

MA in economics is far better as economics has a wider scope. It gives more opportunities and has more jobs in the market.

MA in economics gives you broader way after BA in economics, whereas MBA gives you admin skills, M.A. Will make you enter into a corporate world but mostly as an employee only but through MBA you'll become manager directly.

MBA seems attractive but has failed to get jobs to everyone. If you have a heart for teaching, please go to MA economics and do good. Prepare UGC NET during MA and do develop research aptitude and as a content writer.

MBA is generic course and MBA graduates can be employed in all sectors / type of indudtries, theteforr, MBA has wider scope over MA Economics.

Both the courses are good. But Master of Business Administration (MBA) has more scope and have more job opportunities than Master of Arts M.A. Because every Company and every Institute require a Human Resource Manager or a Finance Manager and MBA graduates are given more importance.
