Which one is a better course to pursue after Diploma in civil engineering among B.Tech and A.M.I.E ?

In my opinion you should go for B.Tech Lateral Entry programme. I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching. You can take up a job and try AMIE in your spare time (part-time). If you want to do a full-time course, try for B.Tech.

You can pursue B.Tech after completing your Diploma in order to create better scope of getting job in future.

Hi Dear, COEP and VJTI both are very old colleges in India and in Asia as well. These two colleges are the best for B.Tech in computer engineering. In terms of placements, it is as well as highly reputed companies come to both of these colleges. For B.Tech, many people say that COEP is good because it is situated in Pune and nowadays, Pune is a developing IT sector. Most of the IT companies are situated here in Pune. COEP has a great opportunity for further studies. Placement from this college is as good as the IITs. Campus of this college is also good and hostel for boys and girls as well. The great thing about COEP is its academic education which is the best in this college. It has very good experienced faculty members which are very highly educated. For placement, both of these are the best but I think, it is little bit better in VJTI than COEP. But, the hostel condition and infrastructure of VJTI is not that much good as compared to COEP. Mostly, computer science branch gets better salary than any other branches of engineering.

If you want to do in your free time, then go for AIME, as a side course. Otherwise, for full time exposure go for B.Tech.
