Which one is a better option to study after 12th to join administrative services, B.Sc or BA ?

    Go for BA, because most of the people cracking the civil services actually are from arts background, because you can score really well in the arts subjects.

    Hello Mahesh,
    Either of the option can be taken. What I suggest is to see the syllabus/ course curriculum of your chosen university of your domain area and compare it with UPSC or your state administrative services syllabus. It might be possible that one of the programme would be more benefit to you. Also, you need to keep in mind the time frame which you have to devote for preparation.

    I think you should pursue B.Sc as it will help you in the long run at the time of preparation for administrative services.

    For administrative services, I would recommend you to go for B.Sc among the two because you will find a lot of opportunities after B.Sc.

    Hi Mahesh,
    You can pursue either of BA or B.Sc according to your interest. You need to pass the civil services examinations and also keep check on the age limit.

    After 12th B.sc is best oppstion. and future plan to MPSC or UPSC so after 12th B.A is best oppestion.
