    Hi,
Talking about Hotel management programs, I must make a point that this field is highly professional and requires a high degree of practical exposure. And the practical exposure needs infrastructure and equipment in an adequate quantity. Being a purely industry-oriented programme, the faculty members must be a great mix of industry-academia. There is no dearth of jobs in this field, but the ones who get maximum exposure, hands on knowledge and nuances of the job get them rather than the theoretical study guys. In short, the curriculum development, programme delivery, teaching pedagogy, infra and equipment, industry interface, interns

Chandigarh University and Chitkara University both provide opportunities in hotel management and if we look at Lovely Professional University (LPU's) B.Sc. in Hotel management the experience at LPU is hard to match. The modern infrastructure and global partnerships, along with hands-on learning exposure, takes student experience to another level: LPU equips students with training kitchens, model restaurants and hospitality labs that simulates real-life experience in the industry. LPU focuses on soft skills, communication, and personality development, which is key given the field. Students have exposure to national and international int

As a LPU student this is my perspective towards asked question.

The highly industry-focused B.Sc. in Hotel Management programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU) includes an on-campus student-run uni-hotel for hands-on learning.  This practical, real-world setting is a major benefit for career preparation since it offers thorough instruction that guarantees graduates are prepared for the workforce right away.

When I visited Chandigarh University to check out the B.Sc. Hotel & Hospitality Management program, what stood out right away was how real and practical everything felt. They've got fully-equipped Production Labs, Bakery Labs, Housekeeping & Laundry Labs, and even Front Office Simulation Suites—it honestly felt like walking through a luxury hotel, not a typical college setup.

What really adds value is their collaboration with hotel giants like Taj, Marriott, Hilton, and Oberoi, which opens doors for internships and real-world experience. Some seniors even got to attend global exchange programs in countries like Switzerland and Canada.

I am a passout from LPU and have profoundly utilised my time here in shaping my personality along with self-analysis. Unlike other universities, rules and regulations are quite strict here. From academics to extra-curricular activities, thorough support is given by our mentors/seniors, professors and management. Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say, LPU has been the university that has outperformed most of its competition. Be it academics, sports or cultural activities, the university boasts a number of accolades to prove its credibility. This is one of the reasons that contribute to making it one of the fastes
