Which one is best for B.Tech computer science: Lovely Professional University or PSIT, Kanpur?

If you want to get a good placement and enjoy your life then choose LPU. Placements: The percentage of the students placed in this course is nearly 70% to 80%. The average CTC is around 6lpa and the highest package is 44 LPA. The placement offered by Lovely Professional university is good. It is a great college with high class academics and best infrastructure. Placements: It offers wide range of placements. Dear Unit, Both Lovely Professional University and PSIT Kanpur are good institutes. Coming to the B.Tech in CSE programme, being alumni of LPU I can only share the details of this programme at LPU but can't at PSIT Kanpur. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. The CSE branch of engineering is lately in high demand due to technology embracing world. The young generation of India are more keen in enrolling for this course in order to get educated and keep-up with the pace of industries. The universities of India are doing justice to this course. I would suggest to pursue B.Tech CSE from LPU, looking at the records this university produces bright software Engineers. LPU offers huge opportunities to students pursuing B.Tech CSE with advanced curriculum, better placements and scholarships. Lovely Professional University is the best choice to opt for CSE. Ranking: LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India. Placements: Thousands of LPU students have got placed in top MNCs and are working all over the Globe. Hello! I have done my Engineering from LPU and today I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I will share my experience, I hope it helps. LPU has it all for complete learning. I would say a Big YES for B.Tech CSE from LPU. Engineering at LPU is a complete and perfect blend of learning and fun. I remember my days of engineering at LPU, how I use to rush for 9 am class and spend hours on my assignments. Engineering is a blend and balance of book learning and practical learning. LPU creates the content in such a way that learning becomes easier for the students. Faculty members are so experienced that they are able to sense how much we have grabbed in his class. University provides all the resources and techniques to make learning easier and also at the same time prepare the students keep to cope up with the corporate world. LPU provides you with all the facilities required to be a good engineer. I had a splendid experience with the faculty members, placement mentor and officers. Infrastructure: University has well-equipped labs with all the latest technologies for learning and development. Double Storey Central Library, equipped with computer labs and all the required books and curriculum, open for students till mid night 12. Not just this all the facilities in university is worth appreciating. The quality of the facilities provided in our hostel was top notch. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen were great. Medical facilities provided were splendid. Infrastructure is good. All resources are available. College provide Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. Faculty: Teachers were qualified. They have a good knowledge of the courses they teach. They are very helpful and supportive. Quality of teaching provided is top quality. The teachers are really very supportive. Course curriculum is structured perfectly. It makes the students industry ready. Placements: In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple package as well. The highest package was around 42 Lacs per annum. All the students were trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Most students who do not have backlogs or reappears gets placed.
