Which one is best for computer Science engineering: LPU or DIT?

I have worked with many top universities in the country in 16 years of my career and observed that both are doing a very good job as per their strengths. But LPU is in a different league altogether due to sheer size of its operations. Some of the main features of Course delivery at LPU which cant be matched are: Course curriculum: It is any day the mainstay or back bone of any programme. The extensive research, industry consultations, feedback from existing employers of LPU students, foreign collaborators and distinguished faculty all over the world goes into developing the curriculum of LPU, and all this: Upgraded in very semester. This makes the LPU syllabi most advanced and industry oriented in all respects. Trainings : A large number of trainings in cutting edge technologies like SAP and other MOOCs are given as a part of programme to enable the students learn what others learn after the courses. For example the SAP modules which cost upwards of INR one lac are a part of curriculum free of cost. School of Professional Enhancement: This is one department which kicks in from the first semester for holistic development of the students to create ethical, virtuous, hardcore professionals out of the students within their student life. The skills inculcated into students here are soft skills, professional etiquette, personality development and various other professional values which help the students not only in placements but throughout their careers. Diversity: LPU attracts the students and faculty from all states of India and about 72 more countries. This huge diversity in peers and faculty helps the student learn about various cultures and one most important trait called TEAMWORK. Scholarships: The meritorious students who perform well in their 10 +2 board exams or in LPU NEST get lucrative scholarships upto 40% of the fee of course per semester. Placements : LPU has a vast network of companies coming in to campus for placements every year. Just last year about 27- companies visited the campus only for CSE grads. Some snapshots of activities: Even the IITs and NITs are appreciating campus wide facilities in terms of IT. Online access to research journals, leading company annual reports and business dissertations with design analysis for ERP. All this makes LPU a different force altogether to reckon with. Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. Dear Narain, Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In addition to core curriculum, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality.

Hi Narain, Both the universities are doing equally good but here I would prefer recent NIRF rankings released by MHRD. Where LPU is mile ahead than a mentioned name. For example- In CSE, they offer cybersecurity, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. # LPU provides pathway to opt that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. # In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. # Best Teaching pedagogy is the key salient feature of Lpu. # LPU also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students. # Personality enhancement programs are one of best key factor of LPU to make their students completely ready for the industry. # Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 700 companies visit LPU every year for recruitments.
