Dear Jaspreet Kaur, Both Doon Business School and LPU are well-known private universities for the management programme. I did MBA from LPU. It is ranked 37th in management across India by NIRF 2021. Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for an MBA degree based on the following things- The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-experienced faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. Placement: Every year more than 550+ companies visit LPU for placements. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. The highest package offered for the management programme is 21 LPA. Pedagogy: The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the program is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Entrepreneurship: Even though most of the students go for jobs, exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, personality, ethics, virtuousness, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc. Are given high importance in the organizations. The program must include the training or modules on all these. Community service: A bit of community projects in between the course are very important to develop the humane side of the person as well as learn the organizing skills. Diversity: As he world shrinks into an aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a B-School is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere.
