    Aeronautical engineering is a four year BE/B.Tech degree course in engineering. Upon completion of 4 years degree course you are trained and qualified to design and test Aircraft, Engines and related Equipments. After graduation, you may continue further studies, and do M. S/M.Tech Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineer, and thereafter you can do Ph.D. and Post Doctoral programme
    On the other hand Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a 3 years optional vocational training course approved by DGCA Director General of Civil Aviation. The training course allows you to apply for the BAMEL Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, after completion
