If you want to pursue a technical career then opt MCA. Else if you want to slightly deviate then opt MBA. Also, there is MBA in IT in some colleges. This will allow you to stick to your CS line as well.

It is up to your interest in which field you want to build your career. Today's era MBA has huge scope but I can't underestimate MCA it is also a good opportunity.

Hey,
MCA doesn't figure widely these days, as is the case with BCA. Once, it was eagerly sought after. Students got jobs in plenty. But, gradually, it began to be considered to be unnecessary. But, MBA is definitely proving an advantage. After Globalisation, Market Economy has turned out to be a major policy. This has enhanced the value of MBA. -
As per my opinion, as you have done B.Sc. in computer Science then doing MCA is a good option as it relates to the field of computer which you have chosen earlier and I think it interests you. After doing MCA you can get good job offers in IT companies. Apart from that, if you think computer field does not interest you and you want to move in business management field then you can do MBA.

Dear Kriti, MCA -most of the students choose MCA after BCA. MCA means master in computer application and this is a very good course. MBA is a management course I. e. Master in business management it is a good course and job placement in this field is also good. You can go for M.Sc. Which is also a master's degree and a good course. The rest depends on your interest. I have many friends who have done MCA and MBA at LPU after their BCA degree based on their interests. LPU is Punjab's Best Computer Application College. LPU School of Computer Application is ranked among the top four Computer Applications Institutes of North India by NASSCO...more

If you're a technology freak or have an interest in software and programming then you should go for MCA. On the other side, if you have an interest in management and administration and have leadership quality in you then you can go for MBA. Whatever is the decision, it is completely yours. As per my experience, MBA at LPU offers an optimum blend of theory and practice to provides a solid foundation in general business management with specializations in the area of choice. The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-experi...more
