Both are reputed institutes as SASTRA has 100% placements. SASTRA has its own placement cell such as Chitrasastra and ED cell.

In my opinion, both are equal. Most of the students in Sastra get placed though many get placed in IT. If you are highly skilled you can get placed in the core.

Both these are among the highly reputed institutions and top ranked too. They are known for their education, faculty and placements.
In terms of placements, both are similar but I think Anna University is better than Sastra in terms of core companies that come for recruitment at Sastra University. Many IT companies come and recruit students a but few core companies will only come for placements. Also, you need to score well to get placed in those core companies.
