Which one is better among Anna University and SASTRA University in terms of placements?

Both are reputed institutes as SASTRA has 100% placements. SASTRA has its own placement cell such as Chitrasastra and ED cell.

In my opinion, both are equal. Most of the students in Sastra get placed though many get placed in IT. If you are highly skilled you can get placed in the core.

Hello Shivani, Both these are among the highly reputed institutions and top ranked too. They are known for their education, faculty and placements. In terms of placements, both are similar but I think Anna University is better than Sastra in terms of core companies that come for recruitment at Sastra University. Many IT companies come and recruit students a but few core companies will only come for placements. Also, you need to score well to get placed in those core companies. Whereas in Anna University, many core companies and the same number of IT companies visit the campus. So there is no need for a core branch student to work in an IT company. But yes you need to be skilled enough to get placed in them. In all, Anna University is better in terms of core companies. Wherever you go, you need to be skilled and talented to get placed in a top company.
