B.Com will be good, because here you will have a little knowledge about computer. In B.Com computers, you will have computers related subjects. And remaining subjects like accounts, marketing are same in both the groups. The technical knowledge which you gain will be useful for you in your higher studies like MBA and at the job.

B.Com has a wide scope. You can go for CA side by side. And, BBA course will help you land in a job quickly. Also, CPT coaching can be availed. MBA is an option you have by passing both the courses.

BBA is better than B.Com because it has wider scope than B.Com and will also act as a base if you want to do MBA after your graduation.

Dear Student, If you want to pursue a career in financial fields like CA then Bachelors of Commerce is better. On the other hand BBA is a professional course, its much more skill specific than a B.Com. B.Com aims to help the students understand the financial and accounting aspects of an organisation. It helps the students to be well-equipped for areas like stock markets/financial portfolio analysis/banking/insurance etc. BBA imparts students with contemporary skill sets such as analytical, decision-making, technical, interpersonal skills and is meant for students who desire to build their professional competence with higher knowledge a

Both BBA and B.Com offer similar career Opportunity. If students are willing to do an MBA, then BBA might be the better option. But if the students interested to become a CA CS or CFA then B.Com will be a better option for students. BBA is a 3 year undergraduate degree level course. B.Com or Bachelor of Commerce is a three-year undergraduate course imparted in regular as well as distance education mode. B.Com is the second most popular undergraduate course in the Commerce branch. Under B.Com there are three most popular courses, namely B.Com or B.Com-General, B.Com (Honours) and B.Com LL.B. BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is

Hi, if you are interested in business, so I think that BBA is good according to scope, salary, skill development. Otherwise, if you are good in accounting, and want to go for government job. So, B.Com is good for you. Good luck.

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

Chandigarh University follows a holistic admission approach, giving importance to both Class 12 performance and JEE Main scores, depending on the route chosen. For JEE-qualified students, the JEE score primarily determines merit-based scholarships and priority counseling, while Class 12 marks ensure eligibility verification. For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a

Yes, for B.E. admission at Chandigarh University, students must meet the basic eligibility criteria of Class 12, irrespective of their JEE score. Generally, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one additional relevant subject. The minimum percentage requirement is as per regulatory norms and may vary slightly by program, but JEE scores alone do not override academic eligibility. Even for students applying with JEE Main 2026 ranks for scholarship consideration, meeting the 12th standard eligibility is mandatory. CU maintains this balance to ensure academic readiness while kee

Hi.

If your 12th result has not been announced yet then

Upload expected / provisional marks for now.

Final admission depends on the official 12th mark sheet after results are announced.

Colleges are used to this situation, especially for students applying in early cycles.
