Both have different scopes. But in my opinion you should opt for B.Tech. B.Tech is a professional degree. Jobs are more on the basis of B.Tech. Many colleges offer this course. Admission is mainly based on entrance exam.

No matter either you choose B.Sc or B.Tech. If someone said B.Tech is in high demand then it is completely wrong. Choose what you will likely enjoy. Engineering being of higher demand and having higher scope also demands serious dedication. Either you are an engineering material or not, decide wisely.
