Which one is better among B.Tech and BCA?

    Hello Shivam,
    From employer's perspective, both courses are similar. I know many students who have done BCA and are employed along with BE students. BCA is a simple graduation that does not require any entrance test, of course this may change in future, and it takes only three years to complete. On other hand B.Tech is a 4-year course, and invariably one has to take an entrance exam. I think BCA is okay if intention is to pick up job in IT.

    B.Tech is a far more comprehensive and professionally valued course than BCA, primarily because it delves into a lot more subjects than BCA. A BCA student would need to complete MCA too before he or she can outstrip a B.Tech graduate's earning potential. B.Tech is more job-focused while a BCA is a good platform for higher studies.
    The choice of BCA and MCA or B.Tech first of all depends upon the background (commerce, arts or science) and satisfaction of eligibility conditions by a student.
