Which one is better among B.Tech in biotechnology and M.Sc in agriculture?

    According to me, M.Sc in agriculture is better.

    Hello,
    This answer can be given in many ways but the choice remains yours to choose wisely out of it. Firstly, comparing biotechnology and agriculture-if you are more interested in carrying out research and love to understand the subjects like genetics, biochemistry, bioinformatics, molecular biology and many more, then biotech can yield such things. About agriculture, it the requirement of recent times especially at national level since population is growing and agricultural breeders need to develop such varieties so as to feed the population.     I would say B.Tech in Biotechnology, as it is a new stream which has just started 5-6 years ago and will have many opportunities coming in future as compared to other one.

    In my opinion, firstly it depends on your choices and academic performance, and I suggest you M.Sc. In agricultural, because it has a good job opportunity and better scope for future.

    Both are Good on their own merit & exposure. Agriculture field offers job opportunities in horticulture, poultry farming, plant Science, soil Science, food Science, animal Science, etc. Job Titles: Crop specialist. Fertilizer sales representative. Food microbiologist. Food researcher, Plant geneticist. Soil surveyor, Farm manager, Career scope of Agriculture Graduate students are not limited to Domestic base rather its been accepted globally in different career aspect or profile like Corporate job, Government Job, Teaching, Research etc. Salary is competitive enough as it is unique field.     It completely depends upon the interest of the student. Biotechnology and agriculture both are good scope in future. Biotechnology and agriculture both are interesting subjects hence the student should select his or her course according to his or her interest.

    If you want to get government jobs with good salary package and facilities then yes M.Sc agriculture would be better but if you want to research, work in foreign countries then B.Tech biotechnology would be better.

    I think B.Tech in biotechnology is a good option in compare to M.Sc in agriculture.

    It completely depends upon the interest of the student . Biotechnology and agriculture both are good scope in future . Biotechnology and agriculture both aur intresting subjects hence the student should select his or her course according to his or her intrest .
