If you meet the eligibility criteria for B.Tech then definitely you should go for B.Tech as the demand of B.Tech Graduates is way more as compared to BCA Graduates. The salary package of B.Tech Graduates is also more than the BCA Graduates. If you aren't able to get admission into B.Tech then BCA is also one of the best ways to get into IT industry, but remember you'll have to work harder to enhance your skills. Lovely Professional University (LPU) is the largest and best private university in India, which offers a diverse range of courses. LPU offers Diploma, UG, PG, and Integrated courses in various streams such as engineering, manag

Pragya, actually the thing is that both courses are equally good and they are having equal scope. First of all it is up to your interest that which course you want to opt. Because the thing is that in corporate world no one cares about whether you have done B.Tech or BCA what they want the desired skills that you should have in yourself. So this is my advice regarding the courses. As per better university is concerned so it depends on your marks and accordingly you get your desired college based on your marks.

Hi Pragya, I am happy that are talking of comparison but it should be crystal clear that any study must be done from a good and well reputed college/ university. Your choice must depend upon following parameters:
Curriculum : It must be designed to cater to demands of industry. Course delivery: IT must be practical, case study oriented, although the right theories must be taken care of. Training: The latest technologies relating to the industry needs like SAP and other MOOCs must be done to students. Guest lectures and industry connect: The guest lectures from industry, industrial visits, frequent interactions must be there for students

BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the technical level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). It depends upon your interest. After BCA for a better career one should for MCA also but in case of B.Tech. You can immediately look forward to the jobs in the industry. LPU is good for both the programmes.
