Both, BCA and B.Tech have pros and cons. It's not that which is better but which is right for you.
BCA is right for you if you are not very academic oriented person. The curriculum of BCA is simple and less competitive as compared to B. Tech. BCA is more classroom sessions oriented.

BCA degree is a 3 year coursr whereas B.Tech is a 4 year degrre course. You will have to do 3 years MCA to be equated equal to B.Tech CSE after BCA. Both MCA and B.Tech CSE degrees are equally good. For BCA MCA degrees you will take additional two years before you get a good job. B.Tech CSE graduat

The only benefit of doing B.Tech from CSE is that you can get a job more easily than any other stream student in private companies like TCS, Infosys etc. And the fun part is that you don't need any deep knowledge of core subjects like TOC, Operating System, Computer Network etc.

BCA is comparatively better, if done with MCA, but frankly both have somehow equivalent scope, so decide on your interests and not just on scope.
