Which one is better among CA and CS?

Hi Amit, Both the courses have their own value in market, so you can judge of any one courses. You should think deeply within yourself about part of commerce you like more. If you like accounts, then you should go with CA (chartered Accountancy), and if you are interested in more fields, like law, then go with CS (company secretary). It totally depend on your interest. CS is someone who will take over the corporate governance of the company. Once you complete your CS, you will be treated as an authority of company laws and communication. Both will be great tools to run a company. CA is a professional course that can give you instant credibility. Once you clear CA, you will be called as an expert of many domains. CA has a great reputation and authority. Even if you don’t want to join a company, you can do your own practice. It is one of self-employed professions that are revered in the society like doctors and engineers. So, it is quite possible which the best course is. So, think and decided which courses you want to do.

Hi, First of all, decide whether your interest is more theoretical oriented or practical oriented. CA is the one who specialises in taxation, auditing and accounting, a majority of the subjects are practical. Company Secretary is a specialist of law, drafting and compliances. A majority of the subjects are theoretical. There's no such thing as easy or hard. Both are almost at the equal level and require the same level of hard work and understanding. Seeing working prospects wise, CA is much more recognised course among the masses and can start his own practice with ease, that's not the case with CS. However, with the companies act 2013 the job prospects of CS enhanced tremendously as compared to CA. Both have their own pros and cons. Decide wisely. Feel free to ask further. All the best.
