Due to less number of CSE seats in Jaypee, I'd prefer CSE here as to the reduction in competition for better companies will lead to a better package. Even Vellore has kind of lost its essence due to its support for management quota-based admissions. Both have equally good companies coming, yet Jaypee has a better curriculum.

CSE from VIT is far better than CSE from Jaypee in terms of placement, campus, exposure, etc.

VIT-Vellore campus is ahead of JAYPEE for B.Tech in computer science.
  • VIT's infrastructure is better and bigger than of JIIT's. But location of JIIT is better. VIT has many other btech and science programs that has good placement records for those branches(other than CSE) too which is why they get a better rank. ECE and biotech branch of JIIT is improving slowly.

VIT-Vellore is way better than JAYPEE. So, I think you should go with VIT, but before that just check ranking of MHRD for both the colleges.

    Hello Rahul,
The placements at VIT are way much better compared to all the other colleges. The college and faculty are preparing all the students to get placed in all of the leading companies. VIT has also set a record for placing the most number of students in a single year. The placements are good, and the salary packages are nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream Company means it offers more than 10 lacs per annum, and Super Dream Company means it offers 30 lacs per annum. If you want to get a job in super dream company, then you have to maintain CGPA 9 in every semester.
    I hope this helps.

CSE at VIT is a much better option then CSE at Jaypee because VIT updates their syllabus every year and infrastructure, placement are also developed well. So my advice is to with VIT CSE. All the best.
