    It basically depends on your interests. If you want to go with the technical stuff then go for B.Tech or if you are more interested in research or teaching then you should go for pure Science. Depending on your knowledge and skills, both can fetch you a pretty good package.
    Good luck and make a choice that goes with your field of interest.
