Which one is better among IIM-Rohtak and IIM-Udaipur?

According to me IIM-Rohtak is better in terms of placements and education too. Good luck.

<p>According to the NIRF Ranking 2023 in Management category, IIM Rohtak has been ranked 12 whereas IIM Udaipur has been ranked 16. Comparing the highest package, during the latest IIM Rohtak placements, the highest package offered was INR 48.25 LPA whereas the highest package offered during IIM Udaipur placements was INR 35.04 LPA. Candidates can choose according to the preferences.</p>

IIM Rohtak and IIM Udaipur both are Institute of National Importance and are part of the second generation of Iims. Both institutes are excellent in their respective areas of focus. Each new and baby IIM is trying to create a niche for themselves in the field of managerial education and comparing them would not do justice to these institutes. The suitability of an institute to a candidate depends on his/her aptitude and area of interest.

Being from IIM Rohtak, I can only comment on my college. These are the reasons to join IIM Rohtak: 1. Audited Placement reports. One does not need to worry about its authenticity. 2. We have some of the most renowned faculties in the Department of Marketing. We have some of the likes of best retail marketing, B2B and Consumer Behaviour professors across the world and India. Just in case you didn’t know, our director is an ex-professor of Marketing from IIM A. 3. MDU campus is huge and is blessed with all kinds of amenities. It is a dream campus for sports enthusiasts. Even its location is strategic. Just walk out of the campus, and you will find buses and cabs to Delhi. 4. New director, Prof. Dheeraj Sharma has joined us this April. He is an ex professor of IIM A. He is known as the ‘Dynamic Director’ in the campus. And he as rightfully, lived upto this annotation. He is an influential person with numerous connections in both industry and government level. 5. One thing that we are proud of, is our industrial relations. We are just about a 100 kms from all pivotal locations in Delhi and NCR. This reflects in the number of guests from the industry, who visit our campus during summits and events. 6. Being close to many good colleges in Delhi/NCR and UP, we can participate in more number of fests and competitions throughout the year. 7. Last year, Data Analytics was introduced as a course in the first year. We also study some pivotal academic subjects such as MR, Corporate Finance, MIS etc. in the first year itself, which prepares us well for facing the industry, both during summers and finals. 8. We are also proud of our Student Interest Groups and Clubs. We have a Readers and Writers group (For the literature lovers), Swaniti (for the ones interested in Public Policies), The Voice Club (it is no doubt one of the best), Explor (Film making club) alongside the main stream ones.
