    Today's IT branch is better than ECE in terms of placement.

    I think, if you are interested in programming languages. Then choose IT or CSE. Else, go for ECE.

    Hi Shail,
    For a student to choose in between the ECE and IT, one need to be deeply self-analysed in order to look for the interest and passion towards a certain industry before opting blindly.
    To my knowledge Id provide the basic opportunities and the relevant knowledge that would be needed for the selection.
    An ECE branch mainly deals with the communication and the electronics background with the involvement of the electrical knowledge. These do deal with the resistors, PCBs, capacitors, bread boards, what not all the digital devices that are used in the modern world.
