Which one is better among IT and food technology in LPU in terms of placements? I'm going to pursue my B.Tech course in LPU.

The demand of IT graduates is very high in companies due to software-based application development and process maintenance tasks. To get a reputed job, a candidate must have requisite skills and knowledge of this field. I can understand the concern of you. It is a very difficult situation for you to decide. Every university is doing good for his students for their best career. There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. For this reason only, placements for all branches in LPU are very good. LPU provides Great Opportunities of Secure and good placements to all students. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.

Well, in the current scenario I believe IT is having more scope and in my opinion the field in which you are having more interest can lead to a better future.
