Which one is better among MBA and M.Com in terms of scope?

MBA is a generic course about the business management and administration and it focuses on managerial functional areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and operations. MBA exposes students in all management functions for all kind of industries from FMCG to core technology companies. B.A. Is an all-purpose degree which provides a graduate to choose his career options based on his interest, strength in management functional area and personality traits. MBA from top B-Schools have career opportunities in the field of consulting, Business Analyst, Pre-sales support, Project Managers, Functional Managers, operations management in private, government, PSU and NGOs. MBA provides wider options in different functions and various types of industries. Although, you must do postgraduate degree based on your interest area, I will recommend MBA over M.Com for better career opportunities and growth.

I would suggest you to go for MBA, the reason being it is preferred by companies as well as worldwide. Hence is has better scope than M.Com.

Hi, MBA stands for Master of Business Administration, It's Bachelor degree Course and the duration of the Course is for three years and the Course is divided into four semester. This course focuses on Business Management stream so if you are interested in management stream then you should be looking forward in doing MBA M Com stands for Master of commerce, it is a Bachelor degree Course and the duration of the Course is for two years and the Course is divided into four semester. This course focuses on commerce/Accountants and all, so if you are looking your future in accountant field than you must be doing M Com. But make sure if you decided to do MBA must be from full time MBA program if you want to go with part time MBA or distance MBA so its better you do M Com then. All the best.

Hello, As far as MBA and M.Com are concerned, I would definitely prefer MBA over M.Com in terms of scope and one the major reasons behind this is the area and level at which both fields expands to. MBA stands for Masters in business application and M.Com stands for Master of commerce. While MBA open doors into various fields and disciplines like marketing, sales, finance, advertising, agriculture, human resources, PR and so on, M.Com will only take to you to a field which is commerce and accounting. MBA gives you wide knowledge on management and administration and builds that personality that easily takes you to managerial level roles in job while M.Com is just a specialization course in commerce that increases your knowledge but the scope with M.Com in both India and abroad will always be limited. But, I will still suggest you to make a choice as per ones interests.

M.Com is a two-year postgraduate degree program to provide the students with a wide range of specialized skills in the area of commerce, accounting and management. It also helps in preparing the students for business enterprises in Account and Finance roles. M.Com, itself, may not be a sufficient qualification for long-term career growth. A graduate may have to do professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, LOMA, etc., for long-term career growth and opportunities.
