Sachin, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. High tech MAC lab.s have been set up for the benefit of students. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. I don't know about other institutes but yes CSE department of SGSITS is surely at a better position than other departments. Faculties might not be that efficient but it is the quality of students which will provide you competitive environment. At the same time, the department is very strict in terms of project deadline and attendance. If you don't want such kind of things then its department is also good. Placements of it are also better than CSE here and at the same time it is lenient.
