Dear Vishnu Aakula, Both Shiv Nadar and LPU are good private universities but I am not much aware of Shiv Nadar. Being alumni of LPU, I would share many details of LPU. Let me share a few of them. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes you feel like you are in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, zoology, etc. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, Shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM, etc. Ranking: 1. Both the universities are epitome of learning. Where in LPU there is immense amount of exposure as well as academic-industry interactions happening throughout the year. This polishes the potential ability of the students to develop according to the industry needs. The university also maintain a serene teacher student ration along with it the university pertains a thorough mentorship model that builds a stronger and effective working model. As a scholar of LPU I have experienced it more closely so I can stance certain facts about LPU:- 1. The LPU infrastructure is quite vast and enough to support all types of practical like the ones needed for agriculture, physical education etc. The lush lawns are very inviting. 2. LPU has all the necessary accreditation. 3. The faculty is not only experienced but is updated with the latest learning by industry experts in the faculty development programs held at regular intervals. The faculty is academically very helpful too. 3. Industry immersion can be seen as there are seminars and workshops held by the industry experts and the alumni, so that the students can get a fair idea of the market trends 4. The labs are well-equipped with the latest technology. The main library is a nine story building and is well-equipped, besides this there are libraries in each block. 5. Placement preparation starts right from the beginning and the placement and career department is one of the largest and best in India. 6. LPU gives impetus to aid research and offers financial aids too for propelling research. 7. The School of Professional Enhancement gives the necessary analytical, logical skills and soft skills to polish the student to the core to make him placement ready. Even mock placement drives are held. 8. The MNCs have recruited many students to top notch positions. LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in-depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time on campus which actually helps them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education and has provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. The students of LPU have been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided into dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Amazon. The center for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill Sets for its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculty members. As per my knowledge, All the universities are doing good in their own way. Rather than comparing, we should check the university which caters all-around development of students. I would suggest you check the following before finalizing the institute: 1. Rankings 2. Faculty 3. Pedagogy used 4. International exposure 5. Tech-savvy last but not the least Placements Both institutes are doing great in education but I don't have many details for GITAM but Being alumni of LPU, I can highlight some of the facts of LPU: LPU being in education for the last 18 years has fetched many rankings to its credit as compared to any other institute. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited the LPU campus during academic sessions. Students are also provided with on-job training, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. LPU believes in delivering quality, for the same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted by the company officials of Cognizant, Microsoft etc. To provide an updated curriculum. The center for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets for its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculty members. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies come for recruitment purpose. Most of them have made LPU campus their favourite recruitment hub. Shiv Nadar and LPU both are average college. If you want admission you can try other colleges. But if you have interest in those two options then Shiv Nadar is better than LPU.
