    Hello,
This is quite interesting question since with the advent of Biotechnology as an emerging field, people are shifting more towards it with the view to try something new and exciting in this career option. But it doesn't mean that MBBS is loosing its charisma since if you feel that you have an exceptional knowledge along with dedicating passion to serve people, then surely MBBS is a right option. As I myself is in biotechnology sphere, I would like to enlist some of its fascinating features which enticed me alot:

Biotechnology is a budding field but the scope of it in India has still not extended that much. Biotechnology is yet a good career option. But MBBS, I would suggest, is better as far as scope in India is concerned. Doing B.Sc in biotechnology will be somewhat easier than MBBS since there is a huge competition in the medical line. You can do some research for career options in biotech. There some pretty good videos available on YouTube for the same.
I have myself been a biotech student and would love to see it expanding and becoming a preferred choice of students.
    All the best.

Both have their own importance and applications. But still if you want to do Biotech in clinical aspect then MBBS is much better option, whatever be the case. Rest you must do the pre-requisite homework and check what topic of Biotechnology you like and then chose the course.
