B.Tech in CS is much better than doing BCA alone. B.Tech alone is equivalent to MCA. And in B.Tech you will get more opportunity than BCA. But also it depends on the institute or university from where you are pursuing your degree. If you are doing BCA from a well known institute then BCA is better in that case as there are numerous institutes which offer B.Tech but some of these institutes have not been accredited and properly recognised. So in that case BCA is better. But if you are pursuing B.Tech from a good institute then it is much better than BCA.

B.Tech in computer Science is a better option than BCA, because B.Tech gives you practically technical knowledge, which I what employers search for.

B.Tech is actually best and safe. So, if you are confused, then definitely go for B.Tech CSE. I was also in your state at a time but now, I am pursuing CSE and can see my dream come true.

Basically, it is based on your interest. B.Tech is a better option if you want to become software engineer. You will get all the required information related to programming if you pursue B.Tech. B.Tech will be a better choice if you want to make your career in the CS field.

Both disciplines have different career opportunities, now depends on you in which field you want to make your career. The opportunities available for people doing BCA are galore. A few of them being like Software Programmer, System and Network Administrator, Web Designer, Faculty for Computer Science/Communication Technology, etc. The range of chances in Information Technology (IT) are immense. B.Tech (Bachelors of Technology):
