Both the colleges are good but COEP have more facilities and like highly equipped laboratories, different clubs like satellite club, robotics club, cultural clubs, etc. Also, COEP being located in Pune city you have good job opportunities in Pune itself.

Planning doesn't have placement and no company wants to hire them, because of the syllabus and it is more like a social Science it deals with smart city, and survey. They have no technical support and it has future in government jobs but if want to go in corporate sector then it is not. Planning is not very familiar branch, so after graduation you may face problems. Planning is good enough to enjoy four years, but it has no future.

COEP is really good college and you should go for it. It has some really great teams in which you can participate. Being in team helps you gain experience and practical knowledge, which also helps in the placements. All the Best.
