Which one is better between M.Sc biotechnology and M.Tech biotechnology?

M.Sc is a science programme and M.Tech, the technology programme. It is crucial to understand the basic difference between Science and Technology. In India, the case of having Master's degree in science is a bit convenient as it necessitates three years Bachelor's degree, nevertheless, Master's degree programme in technology requires four years Bachelor's degree or two years Master's degree in science. Also, there is a major difference that technology courses are usually expensive as it has commercial value, for which the courses are taught accordingly. Science is not time-bound, whereas, technology keeps on changing with time. Job post M.Sc and M.Tech-industries prefer M.Tech people more as they are coming from the engineering background. M.Tech graduates are paid more in industrial sectors compared to M.Sc to some extent, M.Tech graduates have an upper hand over M.Sc professionals. Regards.
