    M.Sc is a science programme and M.Tech, the technology programme. It is crucial to understand the basic difference between Science and Technology. In India, the case of having Master's degree in science is a bit convenient as it necessitates three years Bachelor's degree, nevertheless, Master's degree programme in technology requires four years Bachelor's degree or two years Master's degree in science. Also, there is a major difference that technology courses are usually expensive as it has commercial value, for which the courses are taught accordingly.
