In this article, we provide a comparison between the MBA and MCA to help you make the right choice. Both the programmes are very good at LPU. LPU is Punjab's Best Computer Application College. The job opportunities are also increased to a larger scale with better job profiles. The pay scale of a BCA graduate after MCA is more than an MBA. If one has qualities like leadership, business management skills, risk management, etc. Should definitely go for MBA course. Also, if one has lost interest in the IT world after completing B.Sc. If someone is technology freak or have an interest in software and programming then you should go for MCA. On the other side, if you have an interest in management and administration and have leadership quality in you then you can go for MBA. Whatever is the decision, it is completely yours. As per my experience, MBA at LPU offers an optimum blend of theory and practice to provides a solid foundation in general business management with specializations in the area of choice. The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-expe

If coding and technical domain is where you want to be, go for MCA. If making a career in management field interests you more, then MBA (IT, or any other stream) is an ideal choice. Both are rewarding and unique in their own ways, so take a wise decision.

Both are professional courses but MCA is software oriented and MBA is management oriented study. So, it depends on whether you want to enter the management field or the software field because both have good scope and job opportunities. But if you are excellent in computers then go for MCA.
